What do I need to know?
When should I use the Normatec Compression Boots?
- It is best done as soon as possible after your training session, this will help clear all the lactic acid and metabolites out of your muscles.
Who can use the Normatec Compression boots?
- Any athlete that uses his or her legs e.g. Runner, swimmers, rugby players, crossfitters.
- It’s also great for people who work on their feet all day e.g. doctors, nurses, and construction workers.
What should I bring?
- It is best to wear either shorts or compression tights/ leggings.
How often should I come?
- Our Normatec Compression boots can be used daily!
Experience the ultimate sweat in Athletic Culture's full-spectrum infrared sauna. While traditional sauna’s heat the air, our sauna uses infrared to directly heat our bodies. Infrared light (experienced as heat) is the invisible part of the sun’s spectrum with the ability to penetrate human tissue. What do I need to know:
Is it private?
- For you session you will have the entire recovery room to yourself, your own private oasis.
How long is each session?
- Each 45 Minute Sessions allows you 35-40 minutes of light and heat therapy.
What do I wear?
- Fewer clothes are better in the sauna, less is more! We do ask that you please bring a large towel and that you remain on it at all times in the sauna
How often should I sweat?
- One to Two times per week is perfect, but we recommend as frequently as possible to maximise to results
When should I not sauna?
- We do not recommend to use our sauna if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart disease, those fitted with pacemakers or if you are ill. We ask that you please consults your doctor before hand if you have any chronic issues or take any medications.
